Year 6 have had a busy second week. We’ve had computing with Mr Riley in the Learning Hub, maths lessons focusing on place value and writing poems about The Blitz. Some children have also experienced glorious sunshine and torrential rainstorms during their forest school sessions.

The sun was out so we enjoyed many clubs outside. American football, netball, tennis, archery, running. We are pleased to be back!
Year 6 have had a brilliant start to the year. We have taken our maths learning outside to complete an active circuits session which challenged our additions and subtraction knowledge and started our Britain at war topic by learning some new vocabulary. The children have settled in well and we are looking forward to a fun year ahead.
Thankfully the sun shone for our waterfight. We were all soaked but it was lots of fun!
The children enjoyed sharing their special ‘talents’ with one another. We had dancers, basketball players, singers and much much more…
Reception and KS1 met and then KS2 for a socially distanced reveal of the sports day results. Well done to The White Team. A massive thank you to Mr Hancock and Callum for running seven sports days this year!
Turns out that staying up ALL night left us feeling very tired the next day but it was definitely worth it.
