Year 3 and 4 enjoyed a run around the field to celebrate National Sports Week. Some children ran, some jogged and some walked but we were proud of everyone for their efforts.

Year 3 have been learning about the importance of the battle between Boudicca, the queen of the Celtic Iceni tribe, and the Romans. After our research, the children created their own posters and then presented them to their friends.

As part of our topic about the Romans, we had a special visit from Felix, a Roman citizen. He shared the myth of Romulus and Remus and how the city of Rome got its name.
Year 3 have been learning about how we all. Red to take responsibility for looking after our precious planet. They created some very informative posters.
The second group started their forest school sessions this week. As you can see from the photos, they had a great time learning how to weave.
This week, year 3 have been learning about the life cycle of a plant and created some informative posters. We also brought the process of pollination to life by acting it out.
Year 3 have been working hard to improve their skills of reading an analogue and digital clock as well as answering questions about duration, start times and end times and recognising Roman numerals. Adding dance moves and a song helped us with our quick recall.
Year 3 are thoroughly enjoying their forest school lessons with Mrs Slater. They have been busy learning new skills whilst improving their teamwork.
