As part of our new “Maths Mastery” we were looking at dot patterns, seeing how many different ways we could arrange 4 dots!
The children had lots of fun celebrating Polly and Spooky Zooky’s birthdays!
Over the last two weeks Reception have been over to the Learning Hub. RSG practised their ‘Over the Bridge’ letters. It was ver exciting because we could write on the whiteboard tables! RKG worked in groups to talk about an ORT book called “Getting Up” and then used their ideas to make story sentences.
The School Council had a fantastic time helping to organise a cake sale to raise money for Children in Need. The children designed some posters which were put up around school to advertise the event. We raised an amazing £450! Many thanks to all of our parents and carers for your generous donations of delicious cakes!
The children in Reception enjoyed dressing up for Children in Need. We raised over £60! Many thanks for your kind donations.
We had great fun creating poppies earlier this week. We could choose to colour, paint or collage.
We enjoyed learning some of Christmas songs today. We also learned a funny song about a poor king!
We have been practising our ‘Over the Bridge’ letters this week!
