Inuit Art – soap sculptures

Year 6 have been studying the artwork of Kenojuak Ashevak. We also attempted to make our own soap sculptures. Although some of the animals ended up without legs, arms or in some cases a head, we had a lot of fun making them. Its harder than it looks!

Netball Friendly

Our netball superstars played their first match against Potters Green at the end of the Autumn Term. We won both games; a great start to the year. 5S Science Investigation

Like 5W, 5S have also been dissecting lilies in order to see inside them. We have been trying to identify the male and female parts of a ‘perfect flower’ such as the lily. The pollen does get a bit messy but we were extra careful when it came to separating out each part.
