We took part in some activities to investige the viscosity of different liquids. We finished our first day in Year 4 with a treasure hunt. We had to work out clues and then find the pictures that were hidden around the Parker Building, the playground and the field. All the pictures had a hidden letter on and the letters needed to be rearranged into the title of a book linked to our Potions
Before we left Year 3, we spent an afternoon in our new classes where we met our new teachers and had a look at our new classrooms. Then we went outside and buried some rubbish into plants pots. Year 6 have had a brilliant start to the year. We have taken our maths learning outside to complete an active circuits session which challenged our additions and subtraction knowledge and started our Britain at war topic by learning some new vocabulary. The children have settled in well and we are looking forward to a fun year ahead.
