Year 6 had a great first week back as they spent Friday afternoon on the assault course!
Group A and B teamed up today! They brushed up on their orienteering skills in the morning before going on an independent walk in the Welsh countryside. In the afternoon, we made our way to Criccieth beach to look for some shellfish and enjoy an ice cream. We even spotted some dolphins!!
Group C rose to the challenge to climb Moel yr Hydd today. Well done group C!
Group D rose to the challenge of climbing Moel yr Hydd today. Well done Group D!
Today group E started on the slimy pond with some team challenges before we headed to the lake for kayaking. The Dol-y-Moch Dive proved very popular with lots of the children having several turns. This afternoon we headed back to Borth-y-Gest beach for some rock scrambling.
Group D started the day on the slimy pond before heading up to the lake to kayak. After lunch we headed to Borth-y-Gest beach to rock scramble and lots of the children showed courage to squeeze through some little gaps.
Group A had a fantastic day underground! The children braved the pitch black, damp and cold to emerge hours later feeling proud and accomplished. They tackled cavern crossings, scrambling and some waterfall climbing.
