PE Autumn 2

The Learning Hub!

Over the last two weeks Reception have been over to the Learning Hub. RSG practised their ‘Over the Bridge’ letters. It was ver exciting because we could write on the whiteboard tables! RKG worked in groups to talk about an ORT book called “Getting Up” and then used their ideas to make story sentences.

Cake Sale!

The School Council had a fantastic time helping to organise a cake sale to raise money for Children in Need. The children designed some posters which were put up around school to advertise the event. Eclipse Falconry visit Year 3

As part of our Predator topic this term, Eclipse Falconry who are based at Ash End Farm came into our classes with a variety of animals including a tawny owl, harris hawk, ferret and a boa constrictor! We carried out a science experiment in Nursery this week. We had some dirty 2p coins that we wanted to make shiny. We put one in salt and vinegar, one in lemon juice, one in tomato ketchup and one in coke. We then waited for 30 seconds. We predicted whether we thought the coins would be shiny or not. It
