We had a surprise visit from two elves. They came all the way from the North Pole! They told the children all about what they do to help Father Christmas. They were a little bit naughty too!

The Nursery children had great fun at their Christmas party! They danced, played games, ate party food and even got to meet Father Christmas!
Class 2C investigated how many 2D shapes they could make using 18 lollypop sticks. We made lots of polygons and decided to label them afterwards.
The Year 3&4 football team had their first tournament this week on a cold Tuesday night. The girls tried really hard in each match, learning from each game and working as a team throughout. The children enjoyed meeting some very special elves this week. They shared their wishes and were shown the elf high five!
This week Reception had their dress rehearsal. They were fantasic and really enjoyed it.
What an exciting week! On Monday the children had a visit from our local firefighters who brought with them their fire-engine and let us have a look. One of our school council representatives wanted to promote our respect for school equipment, so he made this wonderful poster! We made sure that every class in KS2 had one in their room, and we will be making one for KS1, too.
