Today was another sun-filled day with lots of amazing activities. The children had a very splashy day working their way around the water assault course in the morning and trying paddle boarding and kayaking in the afternoon. Group A had a fantastic time rock scrambling up on the crags today and were blessed with sunshine for most of the day. The children displayed excellent climbing skills going up a very steep section of the climb. The afternoon found us on the kayaking lake and some of us braved the Dol-y-Moch Dive!
This week we covered the sounds ai, ee igh and oa and we revised our tricky words. We were very excited to see that a visitor had been in the classroom! The tiger from the story The Tiger Who Came to Tea by Judith Kerr had visited us and left some paw prints! The children
We have been mixing primary colours to find out what happens. We used rollers and paint brushes to produce our art work!
The Year 5/6 Girls Football season started with a tournament at Binley Woods Primary School. We were invited by Onside Coaching to the 10 team tournament. We were put into 2 groups of 5. We started with 2 tough games against Dunchurch and Paddox Primary School, the girls worked really hard to win both games 1-0. A very impressive start
Year 4 have started practising previously learned multiplication facts and learning new ones, in preparation for the Year 4 Multiplication Check which will take place in June. The aim is for all children in year 4 to be able to quickly recall all multiplication facts up to 12 x 12. We will be using different games, TTRockstars and Times table
This week Year 3 have been very busy! We celebrated European Day of Languages on Tuesday and completed a number of French Challenges set by The British Council.
