Year 3 have begun an Art project learning about different sketching techniques. We have used different media to create sketches of Ammonite fossils.

Year 2 have loved using the apparatus and ropes this week in PE.
The children played a game where they made a composition using football cards! Each one had a number and an instrument was matched to it. The composition was made by cards popping up on the screen in different orders and the children played the correct instrument at the correct time following these. Sounds complicated but apparently it was great fun
In Skills Academy in KS1 we have been looking at an artist called Kandinsky and tried to create our own version version of his Concentric Circles piece.
We are trying to get better at number fluency so each week we look at a different multiplication table. This time it’s counting in 7s! To help us do this we try and look for any patterns, doubles and spot odd and even numbers.

Year 5 have been using ordnance survey maps to build their knowledge on local allotments within the Coventry area.
Year 2 forest school children made bird feeders. They are hoping that the birds enjoy them!
Year 4 have started our brand new art topic, Vista. We took a look at different breath-taking landscape art from over history before creating our own viewfinder (they didn’t have phones or cameras to hand!), and went outside to find different views. We looked at perspective, point of view, and changing the view from portrait to landscape. Everyone had a
